Today August 1. 2024 we visited the German museum, what a beautiful collection they have. There even is a ham radio station in the museum. The callsign is DLØDM and run by voluntiers. I meet up with DK2PZ Manfred who is the volunteer that day. He invites me to operate the station. Dispite poor propagation I managed to make three QSO’s. I worked LY25A, OH2GBA and OP4W.
The German museum has a fantastic collection. From aircraft from the Second World War to musical instruments and photography. The human body and the development of medicines and medical equipment. The museum is interactive and you can easily spend a day there. Highly recommended to visit if you are in Munich.
