I had been looking for a replacement for my KLM KT34a for some time. My eye had fallen on an OptiBeam OB 9-5. After a long search I was able to buy a second hand OptiBeam OB 9-5 for a very reasonable price. I got the antenna for € 300. The antenna was in excellent condition and only had to be cleaned and a pop nail had to be replaced. After a few weeks of cleaning the aluminum, it was time to place the beam in the mast. On August 19, 2022 it was installed and ready to use. The antenna is working well and no regrets I sold the KLM KT34a.
