New in the shack [june 2020]. I was looking for an automatic antenna tuner for my Icom IC735 and came across a complete Icom Ic-720A line at a sales site. I bought the complete line. The transceiver, automatic antenna tuner, speaker and power supply are in good cosmetic and technical condition. I am impressed by the quiet receiver that the Icom IC-720A has.
IC-SP3 base speaker
with a flip stand to angle the speaker up. Matches several Icom receivers and transceivers.
IC-AT100 HF Full Automatic Antenna Tuner.
The Icom AT-100 is an automatic external antenna tuner for 80 through 10 meters. Specific frequency range is: 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 10-10.5, 14-14.5, 18-18.5, 21-21.5 and 28-30 MHz. It provides autoband switching with several Icom transceivers including the IC-720A (requires LDA). Power capacity is 100 watts continuous, 200 watts PEP. Minimum drive power is 8 watts. The top panel access cover opens for adjustments for the Auto/Tune Preset switches, Preset timers and Preset Indicators. The AT-100 features one input SO-239 jack and four output SO-239 coaxial antenna jacks on the rear panel. Tune-up time is typically 4 to 7 seconds. The power requirement is 13.8 VDC or 240v which is selectable from the rear panel. (241x111x300mm 5 kg).
IC-720A HF transceiver
Is an all solid state transceiver covering nine amateur HF bands. It features two digitally synthesized 10 Hz VFOs. Enhancements include RF speech processor, RIT, CW semi break-in, noise blanker and VOX. The IC-720A has has a quad-conversion, general coverage receiver that tunes 100 kHz to 30 MHz. Power output is: SSB 10~100W, AM 10~40W, CW/RTTY 10~100W.
IC-PS15
Regulated power supply delivers 13.8 VDC at 20 amps (50% duty cycle). It employs 4 transistors and 7 diodes. The rear panel, has a hard-wired, high amperage cable with the Icom standard Molex plug plus a fuse jack (for supplied 10 amp fuse). 120 VAC input. 7.1 x 4.4 x 11.5 inches 18.1 lbs.
